Nonpartisan Canvassing

What is nonpartisan canvassing? 

It's a door-to-door effort to reach infrequent voters with information on how to check their registrations and all the ways and places they can cast their ballots.  We want as many citizens as possible to be represented in our democracy.  LWVKY, LWV of Lexington, and our partners at CivicLex and Our People Our Vote can give you all the information you need to be a great canvasser, but we need volunteers to help make it happen.

We use the free MiniVAN app to make canvassing a snap! MiniVan allows easy management of targeted addresses, provides canvassers with a script for their conversations, and allows volunteers to record responses in real time.

If possible download the app to your smartphone in advance, get your walking shoes, and join us at one of these events!  Bring a friend if you can!  (If you need help getting the app installed, we can help at the event.  If you have an iPhone, you will need to know your appleID to install an app.)
