LWVKY National Voter Registration Day Friendbank (VIRTUAL)

Celebrate National Voter Registration Day by joining the LWVKY at a VIRTUAL, community event on September 28 at 6 PM, to encourage everyone in our social networks to check their voter registration. This will be a chance to bond with other volunteers interested in voter registration and to learn more about how you can take action with the LWV from just about anywhere.

We will be using OutreachCircle to connect with our contacts to make sure their voter registration information is current. We will have technical support to walk you through the process step by step. No technical experience required.

If you are passionate about voter registration, this is the event for you! Our goal is to connect with 500 people to remind them to update their voter registration. To reach this goal we only need 35 people to attend (who will each reach out to 15 people they know.) Believe me this is a lot easier than you think and we will show you how!

VoteRiders Voter ID Tools and Services

VoteRiders is a national, nonpartisan organization that assists people in obtaining the appropriate, state mandated ID to vote.

From VoteRiders: In 35 states, it’s not enough to register to vote! Yet, there are an estimated 25 million voters who lack a current, government-issued photo ID. It is crucially important that we educate and assist those in need of voter ID help – especially as millions of Americans navigate voting early or by mail due to COVID-19.

Please join VoteRiders on July 28th at 3 PM ET for our first-ever national Voter ID Tools and Services training!
